Nordic Sunshine Music

Enter The Mukherjee Development.

A Copenhagen-based band specialized in playing Nordic Sunshine Music.

Yes! -the term is admittedly self-coined, as the sun rarely ever shines in Denmark -but wouldn’t you also bend the truth a bit in pursuit of your craft?

The Mukherjee Development is a music collective that doesn’t adhere to traditional genres, its time for Nordic Sunshine Music to enter the scene…

The Mukherjee Development – a dose of musical magic

Where Tom Petty meets Coldplay added a healthy dose of laid-back attitude ala Kurt Vile.

Where spontaneous intensity finds a deeper balance.

Where Denmark’s best musicians meet, sparks fly, and freedom of expression reigns king.

That’s where you’ll find The Mukherjee Development.

Always turning creativity and comradery up to eleven.

The pace of just about everything keeps increasing – social media, news, music, etc.

The Mukherjee Development tries to write music that can help people navigate through these fast-paced times.

Slow down a bit.

Value creativity more, and nurture the relationships and communities surrounding all of us.

The Mukherjee Development’s particular brand of Nordic Sunshine Music is magically doing just that.
